The place to go for comics and graphic novels - but I just love the green tiles on this buildig!  It's on some narrow streets so you have to look up but then you can't miss it!  You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

This bookshop came highly recommended so I took my boyfriend with me to explore and see for ourselves what it was like.  I can safely say it was worth all the hype!  Such a treasure-trove the way it's bee set up, you really feel like you have to explore.  You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

Untapped Cities : (Art)chitecture no.1

House Hunting in London

A new venture where I shall be illustrating buildings - YAY!  The lovely people at Untapped Cities have asked me to illustrate for a column to come out every two weeks on a Wednesday.  My only guide to be buildings and to write a bit of text to go with the illustration.  I love it!

Check out the site www.untappedcities.com and have a look around, there are some great articles.  Say hello to them @untappedcities and find my column under '(Art)chitecture'.

The End

TA DA!  And there you have it, the end of 30 Days of illustrations of buildings.  I hope you've enjoyed seeing these as much as I have enjoyed doing them.  This little project has really reminded me of how much I love to illustrate buildings.  From finding a building that catches my eye, to capturing it in my own style, details and colours, whether an up close detail or the whole building.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this project, so please feel free to leave a comment or send an email.  Thank you!
