Bookshops of London no : 6

Persephone Books

Mostly books by female authors in this lovely bookshop.  Lovely big windows give you lots of light to explore whats out on display or still tucked on a shelf.  You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

GOSH

The place to go for comics and graphic novels - but I just love the green tiles on this buildig!  It's on some narrow streets so you have to look up but then you can't miss it!  You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

Bookshops of London no : 4

This bookshop came highly recommended so I took my boyfriend with me to explore and see for ourselves what it was like.  I can safely say it was worth all the hype!  Such a treasure-trove the way it's bee set up, you really feel like you have to explore.  You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

(Art)chitecture no : 36

Harris + Hoole, Amersham

One of Amersham's newer coffee shops, Harris + Hoole, is definitely well settled in to local life.  They have lovely work up from local artists and often host nights promoting various things.

The have a great selection of drinks - hot & cold, food, and even a few bits for the kitchen!

Lovely high ceilings, big windows, and an open kitchen all create a great atmosphere.  Along with an eclectic mix of tables, chairs and sofas, it's a nice place to meet friends for a catch up or have some quiet time with a nice magazine or book.
