(Art)chitecture no : 35

This tea room is in the quaintest of buildings sandwiched in between to larger equally lovely buildings. Being my first proper time in Chester I was really captivated how the shopping experience was pretty much on two levels!  The tea room in question is the floor where you can see the string of bunting...first floor!  All along the high street there is this raised covered walk way that will take you from one end to the other - it's bizarre but really very lovely.  There are plenty of little staircases if you change your mind or if you spot a shop you wanted to pop into.

The cupcakes welcome you in the big front windows and were just so well presented I couldn't resist illustrating a few for you to see too.  We stopped for a spot of lunch and it was lovely, nice service, great atmosphere and all those cupcakes in eyesight.

I've visited this lovely Cafe/Restaurant a few times now.  It's just down the road from my flat and is dog friendly!  It's actually named after two dogs the owners know, nice huh?  Highly recommend the breakfast/brunch choices along with the tea and coffee...yummy!

This piece isn't up on untappedcities.com yet, but I love it so.  A friend of mine opened the 'London Centre for Book Arts' in Hackney Wick, and every time I visit I make sure I swing by here for a delicious coffee and to gaze lovingly at the cakes...
