We're all familiar with Waterstones Bookshops, and I find that quite often they are in lovely buildings too! I love the minty green of the woodwork on the front of this branch. You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster.

I love this little bookshop! Very fun & quirky selection of books along with book themed gifts such as bags, mugs, wrapping paper etc. It is uite small but I often find myself in there for a good amount of time, just exploring what it has to offer and leaving inspired. This bookshop was recommended to me for my #bookshopsforcharlotte project so I've not actually had the chance to go there myself yet. But it's outside is just so lovely I had to include it! You can purchase this illustration as part of a set of greetings cards or it's on my 'Bookshops of London' poster. I love the colour of the painted wood against the brickwork - gorgeous!

The have a great selection of drinks - hot & cold, food, and even a few bits for the kitchen!
Lovely high ceilings, big windows, and an open kitchen all create a great atmosphere. Along with an eclectic mix of tables, chairs and sofas, it's a nice place to meet friends for a catch up or have some quiet time with a nice magazine or book.

This tea room is in the quaintest of buildings sandwiched in between to larger equally lovely buildings. Being my first proper time in Chester I was really captivated how the shopping experience was pretty much on two levels! The tea room in question is the floor where you can see the string of bunting...first floor! All along the high street there is this raised covered walk way that will take you from one end to the other - it's bizarre but really very lovely. There are plenty of little staircases if you change your mind or if you spot a shop you wanted to pop into.
The cupcakes welcome you in the big front windows and were just so well presented I couldn't resist illustrating a few for you to see too. We stopped for a spot of lunch and it was lovely, nice service, great atmosphere and all those cupcakes in eyesight.

I've visited this lovely Cafe/Restaurant a few times now. It's just down the road from my flat and is dog friendly! It's actually named after two dogs the owners know, nice huh? Highly recommend the breakfast/brunch choices along with the tea and coffee...yummy!

This piece isn't up on untappedcities.com yet, but I love it so. A friend of mine opened the 'London Centre for Book Arts' in Hackney Wick, and every time I visit I make sure I swing by here for a delicious coffee and to gaze lovingly at the cakes...
