Running Late

IT'S FINALLY STARTED!

I had a total block when my sketchbook arrived, full of lovely blank white pages...I just didn't know how to start it!  However I recently saw how Bernadette Moke had started hers, I was so inspired I HAD to get started.  And I did.  'Travel with me' to London!  This page is titled 'Running Late', which is definitely a part of traveling, and was definitely the theme for the day - Somehow I never leave myself enough time to get everything done.  But I am so pleased and relieved to of gotten started on my sketchbook finally!

Sketchbook Project 2012

In 2010 when I signed up for the sketchbook Project 2011 it turns out I was quite late in joining!  This year, for the Sketchbook Project 2012 I have got in there significantly earlier and now see that I have the best part of a year to complete my sketchbook - happy times! Hopefully this will mean better posts and more updates rather than all at once in a panic as it was somewhat last time.

This year my title is "Travel With Me" and I am currently having issues about putting pen to paper - that new sketchbook syndrome...or is that just me?  I have started planning out some travels, which over the year will be my source of inspiration as well as past places visited.

BABE @ Arnolfini

Bristol Artists Book Event @ Arnolfini

What a successful weekend!

'Down Your Street' did well, as did older editions of silkscreened books such as 'Row of Houses' and 'Buildings' was a huge success and got lots of love and attention, I was so pleased!  I really enjoyed seeing people look through my books and now its nearly time to start the next sketchbook project.
